An all inclusive feeding solution to train your Mandarin Fish or Scooter Blenny onto frozen food and helping it to prolong its life in captivity.
Owning one of these fish can be the most enjoyable experience or it can be filled with heartache and disappointment.
The main issue with this otherwise hardy Mandarin fish is getting them to eat. Unless you are luck enough to buy a captive breed fish, chances are the fish you have is wild caught and in the wild these fish would eat small crustaceans, hunting between rocks and in nooks and crannies. When we get them they don’t realise that the dead bit of food we are offering them is good for them, so they need to be trained.
This can be done with the Den, but requires a certain amount of patience
on behalf of their keeper. The Den was designed by Alex who has 6 dragonets and she has trained them all using the Den. All her dragonets are eating paste food :
